Driving Licence
Each driver must produce their driving licence on collection of the vehicle.
Details of any endorsements/penalty points for people who hold a UK driving licence are now kept online and not on the driving licence or paper counterpart. Each driver will also need to produce their national insurance number in order for us to complete a DVLA check on their behalf.

There currently is no charge for this service.
Â
If you cannot provide your national insurance number you will be asked to give your permission verbally over the telephone to DVLA, so that they can disclose your driving licence information to us. This is a premium rate telephone service and there will be a charge of £15 inclusive of VAT per licence for choosing this option. Please note this service is only available Monday to Friday and is subject to availability.

Age restrictions
All drivers must be between the age of 25 and 70. On occasion we are able to insure drivers aged between 23 and 25 however additional insurance charges will apply and prior authorisation must be sought before collection of the vehicle.

Penalty Points
Drivers are allowed up to 6 points within the past 3 years for offences such as speeding, parking or construction and use. If you have endorsements for Driving while under the influence of Drink or Drugs, driving with No Insurance, Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, Theft or Unauthorised Taking of a motor vehicle or if you have been banned from driving within the last 10 years, it is recommended that you contact us to check your entitlement to hire within our insurance criteria.

Additional Drivers
You can have as many additional drivers as you require, but all drivers will be required to produce their driving licences and national insurance number. A small charge of £6 per day will apply for each additional driver. It is the primary hirers responsibility to record which driver is responsible in the event of any penalty charges or traffic offence notices.

What do I do if I Breakdown?
In the unlikely event of a breakdown please call our freephone number on 0808 100 2309 or 01204 397774. In the event of an overnight breakdown, you can call our breakdown helpline on 0800 107 5867 quoting the vehicle registration as shown on your rental agreement.

Driver induced faults may not be covered and could therefore be chargeable. These may include, but are not limited to:
• Incorrect Fuel Used
• Wheel change
• Out of fuel
• Locked out or Lost/broken key
• Road Traffic Accident Recovery (Subject to fault)
Please note that attempting to complete repairs on the vehicle yourself will automatically incur a charge of £1,250.

Fuel
Customers are required to return vehicles with the same amount of diesel as when they collected the vehicle. If a vehicle is returned with less fuel a charge will be applied, current charges per litre are displayed in the rental office. Please note that our charges are higher than the forecourt prices as we do not have access to a diesel pump.
Refunds will not be given for vehicles returned with excess fuel.

Early Returns
Refunds for early returns will only be given if we have received at least 24 hours notice before the vehicle is returned. Deposits will be refunded when the vehicle is returned in the same state as it was let out. Please note that it can take some card providers up to 5 working days to process your refund. This is a matter that you should discuss with your bank.

Insurance Excess
Our current insurance excess is £1250 on panel vans and £1500 on Luton vans. This amount is payable should damage be incurred to the vehicle if the hirer is at fault.

Hired a van for a house move, unfortunately they had double booked the van by accident so we were upgraded to a larger van free of charge. Seen plenty of bad reviews however the service we received was excellent and yes the van wasn't cosmetically 100% but they are for moving things not showing off. Excellent value will definitely recommend and use again in future when required.
